The 148th historic Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath started in a grand manner in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat today. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reached Shri Jagannath Temple and participated in the tradition of pulling the chariot along with other devotees. Like every year, this time also the entire route has been tightened with security arrangements for the Rath
Yatra. A huge crowd of devotees gathered for the divine darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, while pulling the chariot, prayed to the Lord for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the state. During the journey, bhajan-kirtan and cultural tableaux were also organized all along the way.
